OUR CHURCH

About Trinity

Trinity Baptist Church is an independent Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, and Bible-teaching Baptist church that endeavors to exalt the Saviour, edify the saints, and evangelize sinners.

We try to order our lives according to the Scriptures, including our worship services. We believe the King James Bible is the perfect word of God for English speaking people, we do our best to faithfully expound the Bible through expository preaching and teaching (1 Cor. 1:18, 23, 2:13; 2 Tim. 2:15), and we sing Christ-honoring music including “psalms, hymns and spiritual songs” (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16).

The church building is handicapped accessible, has an academic wing with class rooms for children, youth, and adult instruction, a large auditorium that allows for safe social distancing, as well as safe, clean, and comfortable nursery facilities.

History of

Trinity Baptist Church

Trinity Baptist Church was started by Pastor Joe Perticone in February 2008. The Lord called Pastor Perticone to start a church to reach the City of Rochester, and in a rented facility on Culver Road, Trinity Baptist Church was founded. Through His grace the Lord then provided a building of our own on Atlantic Ave in 2011 and then in 2018 we moved to a beautiful building at 650 Merchants Road just west of Farmington Park and just east of Parsells Avenue.

After nearly 14 years of faithful preaching, teaching, discipleship and dedication to the church, Pastor Perticone was led to follow the Lord's direction to serve as an Assistant Pastor in South Carolina.

In October 2021, Michael Watson became the second Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church.
